Pitchshifter
The Palladium - November 4, 1998

Limited to a 30 minute opening slot for the Deftones show, Pitchshifter used their time to completely embarrass the bands that would follow. Coming out with guitars and dat blazing, Pitchshifter practically brought the Palladium crowd to their collective knees, and it was only 8 PM.

Programmed synths and pure noise on dat served as a backdrop for agonizing, crunching guitars. Served up as a chaotic mix of industrial and metal, Pitchshifter, led by J S Clayden, pulsed with barely contained rage. Performing songs taken mostly from the album "www.pitchshifter.com", the band stomped and kicked and pounded their songs into the ground until they were hardly recognizable, all to the extreme delight of the screaming masses that serve as Pitchshifters fans.
