Winner of the Autographed Rancid Poster, Life Won't Wait CD, Sticker and Button
Rancid happen to be my absolute favorite band, but that's not why I want
this prize. See, my amazing boyfriend, Zach, who practically WORSHIPS
the band, ended up with Matt Freeman's autograph and one of Tim's
stickers when he saw them a few months ago. Being the sweety that he is,
Zach gave the stuff to me! I flipped out! BUT... a few days ago, Zach
asked me what i did with the autograph and the sticker. I was SO SURE
that they were on my desk with all my other band autographs (ok, fine,
next to my ONE other autograph-- the guys from Goldfinger), but when I
looked, I couln't find them. I searched my room frantically, but they
were completely gone. I think I've com to accept the fact that my
cleaning lady must've thrown the stuff out. The big problem is that Zach
is REALLY upset. He's not exactly mad at me, cuz we don't get mad at
each other, but he's kinda pissed off. He said "if I knew you were gonna
lose the stuff, I wouldn't have given it to you in the first place." I
feel aweful! Aside from the fact that I also love Rancid and I totally
cherished that Tim's- sweat-soaked sticker, I let my boyfriend down. And
since he means more to me than anything in the world, I'd love to be
able to make it up to him. PLeeeeease can I suprise him with this Rancid
prize pack?
That would totally make my day. :o)

I know Im not witty enough to think of something so clever..Im computer illiterate for the most part fer chrissakes (sorry no real audio version of me singing a Rancid song..Tho I must say my vocalization skills are
stupendous!)..But I thought I'd give it a try anyways..For Ive been
listening to Rancid for a while and have heard different opinions on there
new CD..And soon Ill be seeing them..Wahoo..YaY..Anyways..Heres my

my microphone sux so you can't have the pleasure of hearing me sing rancid
songs. all i can say is that i like rancid a lot lot lot lot. if you don't

Hey my name is Sandra Wong,
please give me that picture because I love the guys very much and they have a huge influence on me. They were the first swing band I heard and saw live. Also i have made a webpage about them because I'm huge fan and them and would do anything to get that picture. The person who is my favorite in the band is Scotty, because I could relate what he went through when he was teenager. When he was my age around 15-18 he listen to punk and was a punk rock band. Right now I'm listening to punk rock music, but now getting into swing more because of the great introduction big bad voodoo daddy gave me. But I was really happy when I saw them live, and enjoyed it because of the great sound and the atmosphere of the place. I felt like I was back into the 1940.

Winner of the Autographed Scotty Picture of Big Bad Voodoo Daddy:
Well, rather than just tell you why they are my favorite band, I'll tell you
what I would (or did rather) to go see them live! Recently the BBVD played
live at Bogart's in Ohio. Me and my girlfriend have been listening to and
dancing to the BBVD since we saw Swingers in the theatre. We had tickets for
the show at Bogart's. The show started at 8:30, and we wanted to leave at
5:00, this would give us time to drive there, have dinner, and still get a
good place in line to get in. After picking her up we hadn't been on the road
for longer than 15 minutes when we heard a couple of loud thuds. It turns out
that my muffler which had just been fixed earlier the day before, was now
dragging! So we turned around and decided to take her car. Now things get
interesting! We are driving down the highway, about 45 min away from home,
when her car begins to lose speed. She tries to fight it and puts the peddle
to the metal, but we still lose speed rapidly. We pull over to the right, and
I get out of the car. First thing I notice is a puddle about two feet by two
feet of coolant leaking on the side of the road. I ask my girlfriend to pop
her hood. As soon as she does, smoke begins billowing out from under the
hood. I shout for her to get out of the car. After she gets out we put a
little bit of distance between the car and us. The engine by this time has
erupted into flames. I ran back to the car, and grabbed our wallets, our BBVD
tickets, and a few other things that were in hand reach. A few minutes later
the police arrive, along with two fire trucks. An officer laughs to my
girlfriend and I, "Don't take this the wrong way, but this is pretty cool.
I"ve never seen a car erupt into flames this quickly!" The police called my
girlfriend's parents to come pick us up at an AppleBee's nearby. Around 7:45
her dad showed up, and asked us if we still wanted to go see the BBVD. Of
course, we said yes, and we rolled up to the door around 8:30, just in time
for the show. Unfortunately, we were unable to stay after to meet BBVD,
because her dad was waiting for us after the show, but it was the best show
I've been to yet, and me and my kitten we're able to swing all night to the
grooves of the BBVD!
