Winner of the Autographed Scotty, Jeff & Andy:
Here's why: Because it's not for me, it's for my friend Cheri. You see, one of her all-time favorite movies is Swingers, and ever since she's discovered BBVD, she has encountered one disappointment after another. First of all, when they came to our hometown of Milwaukee, she didn't have enough money to go. She had to sit at home watching infomercials, crying into her pillow. Then, when they came to Madison, a mere 90 minute drive away, it was a night that she had an exam the next day, and to make matters even worse, it sold out before she could make her final decision. But, the straw that broke the camel's back was that we found out BBVD played LA about a week before we came out here. Here's another reason Cheri deserves an autographed picture: She came all the way out to LA with me, from Wisconsin, because I got an internship and needed someone to share the cost of living with. There is absolutely nothing in it for her. She has no money left. Come on, Totally LA, show her that this city does love her and make her the lively person she once was. The end.

Winner of the Autographed Scotty Pictures:
My husband and I went to the Variety in Little 5 Points, Atlanta to see BBVD and IT WAS FAB! My husband is a super-big fan and convinced his mom and I to go. Before the show, Scotty was walking through the crowd, without being widely noticed -- though he was wearing a super-cool leather cowboy shirt -- and my husband, Chris, noticed him. He went down to talk to him, pointed out his mom and I in the balcony and had generally a great conversation. He was as thrilled as a five-year-old meeting mickey mouse the first time. Scotty even autographed a five dollar bill for Chris (a little cliche', I know - sooo money). Anyway, it was a really great show, the band was really great to the fans and Scotty was really nice to my husband. I think this is Chris' favorite band ever. I haven't seen him this excited about music for a long time. It would really be a treat for him if I could get an autographed photo of Scotty or the whole band for him as a gift to put in a frame with his $5 bill.

My name is Ryan W. in Lexington, Ky, and I think Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is great. I mean, these guys are sweet. I wear this BBVD tee-shirt 24-7 and all these people look at me and my shirt like I'm retarded and say, "Big Bad Voodoo Daddy?... what is that?" I really don't care though, they'll know when the swing movement hits more in this area.
I HAVE to have an autographed picture! The one of Scotty or the group one would be great. I have tried to be in SO many contests like this and I always lose.... bad luck I guess. So, be nice, and give the cool picture to your friend in Lexington.
He is well deserving.... :)

Winner of the Autographed Dirk Picture:
Well, my favorite band member is Dirk. I could go on and on about why I dig him so much, but I don't think I have enough room! =) But here are just a few reasons:
1. He's an awesome singer (he's sung to me before =)
b. He can swing like a pro, even when holding his upright (and can run across the stage with it!)
3. He looks good in a pinstrpie suit (Ok, ok...so any guy does...but he looks like he walked straight out of a Jimmy Stewart movie)
4. He's got a good heart (Not into all the publicity stuff as far as egos go...not full of himself and VERY down to earth...not a celeb..a PERSON! =)
5. Lastly, he made my last BBVD show VERY memorable! (You see, I'm shipping off to Navy boot camp in two weeks. I went to a show of theirs last week, and got to talk to him before and after! I was front row the ENTIRE time! When he was singing, it was to me, and when he wasn't, he was blowin' kisses to me! After the show, we talked about going into the Navy and how he had faith in me and all this other really cool stuff. When we were saying good-bye, he gave me a hug and a kiss! Nothing kinky, but let's just say I'll never wash my right cheek for as long as I live!)
So, is that enough to win the picture signed by him? =)

Big Bad Voodoo Daddy is my favorite band because their horn section is soooo tight. They rip it out with such a force that I have converted a few people into swingers with just a taste of their cd. Scotty does a great it don't mean a thing break in Jumpin Jack, and all songs can rightfully be called a "hummer" because they are so good. I also want the autograph because I never get to see them since I am way under 18, or 21 (which makes clubs a no) and because I live in NJ, and there is no way that I have a chance or opportunity to see them. This would mean a lot to me. Please pick me as a winner. Thank You

I first heard of BBVD about two years ago. After I saw them in the movie swingers I fell in love with Scotty Morris. I thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread.

why i like bbvd?
there is just something special about their music...it's hard to put into words. it must be a combination of the smooth vocals of scotty, the great sound coming from the trumpet of the kid, and the rest of the swingin' band. besides the fact that their music makes you wanna swing, they have so much class, and i love their suits! i've never seen these guys live, except in swingers (but that's not live), but they play for the crowd. i know they love their fans, and that's what makes bands great...playing for the love of the music and not the money. t0 sum everything up in the words of swingers "they're money".

Ever since the movie Swingers, I have gone BBVD crazy. I go to clubs to go dancing and I can't wait to see them in concert, July 19th in Rochester NY.
I just moved into a new house and the walls are a little bare. I can't think of a better way to decorate.
By the way, keep up the great site!

Hey, I Just recently met the Band at a radio station in seattle called "the endd" and when there not makeing great kickin music they are just a bunch of buddy's clowning around. when scotti was singing you and me and the bottle make's three the guy's were picking each other's nose's, fake fighting, useing each other as drum's..and a whole bunch more there a great bunch of guy's and i'm glad i had the pleasure of meeting them. i was talking to scotti and we were just talking about the new smashing pumkin's album and how diffrent it sounded. and when they were leaveing they gave me a t-shirt that was cool! I know it seem's wierd why did'nt you just get the autograph's when you met them? i just wanted to give them there space and i saw them as friend's not celb's! so i think it would be better this way if i won them! P.S scotti gave me the nick name ZERO 'cuz i had on a pumkin's t-shirt and when he saw it he said "Zero huh!" "i said "yep" he said "me too". he's really funny so i think i want his autograph. so here's my Name....John Garnett
