Glen on how he learned to play the trumpet

Glen - I just started learning to play the trumpet when I was a little kid, and I just played in like school band and stuff. And then I went to college and I studied music at Cal State Northridge, and then I've just been playing ever since.

Glen on how he got into BBVD

Glen - Um, I was friends with one of the guys in the band, and they were lookin' to replace their old trumpet players, like around three years ago. And, I came down and met the guys, and I got along really great with them, and they liked the way I play.

Glen on the popularity of their band

Glen - Um, it's flattering, you know, that they like us and stuff, and it's just fun, you know. I mean, I think it's really cool that people have a good time.

Glen on the variety of their fans

Glen - Yea, the fan base is really large for our group, 'cause, you know, down from the little kids, you know, like I see jr. high school kids come out. Up until, you know, we play places where you gotta be a certain age, and it's like an older crowd, and they like it too, and everybody in between. So it's a really large fan base, which is fun. Because, you know, we can do concerts, where a grandchild can come with their grandparents and they both have a good time. Or, you know, a parent can come with their kids, and there aren't that many groups that you're gonna go to where your parents would like the same groups as their kids would like, so it's pretty fun.

Glen on going on tour

Glen - We're all really excited about it.

Glen's Final Thought

Glen - Uh. . . .thanks for comin' and seeing us. Thanks for coming.

Scotty - Hi daddy!
