Josh on How he learned to play the piano

Josh - I think I started in the fourth grade, officially though, I've been banging on my Dad's piano since I was a little kid. He'd show me the blues progression, and we'd change some notes, then I've been doin that since I was a little kid.


Josh on Being a professional musician

Josh - I don't know if I knew right from the beginning that I wanted to be a professional musician, but I sure knew that I had a good time doing it, and it was a lot more fun than doing homework, or anything else, so. .


Josh on How he got into BBVD

Josh - Uh, I knew Glen, the drum player, from music camp when we were in high school, you know, we, a bunch of the kids I knew, we used to go to these music camps up in the mountains and play band there. And I knew right from that, and that was back in '88, and we just got back from there, and he gave me a call one day and said hey, we're looking for a piano player, so that's how it started.


Josh on Fame

Josh - Kinda in the back of mind, I always hoped it would turn out like this, and it's pretty awesome when it actually does. And so, it's kinda a dream come true.


Josh on Touring

Josh - Yea, I mean, it's hard to leave all your friends and family behind for that long, 'cause I don't think any of us have been out for that long. We've been out, five or six weeks, but never three months. So, it may be difficult, but it's gonna be so awesome to go see New York, Chicago, Boston, all the big towns, so we'll see before we're finished.


Josh on BBVD's Mass Attention

Josh - It's awesome, and this week it's really gone up another notch, you know, it's been building this whole last year and recently. . well, ever since the record came out it's been ridiculous, so it's awesome, it's almost surreal, like we all don't know what to think of it, it's all kinda new and we're trippin' out a little bit it's great, we love it.


Josh on Their Sell Out Shows

Josh - It's incredible, I mean we're so blown away by the response everyone's given us; that this many people wanna come out and see us. It just, you know, it really makes you feel good inside.


Josh's Final Words

Josh - We just wanna thank everyone for making this the best time of our lives. I mean, we're just having the best time, and owe it all to everyone coming out and supporting us. So, thank you.
